Master Chen Zi Qiang

Master Chen Zi Qiang has been teaching at Chen Style Tai Chi Academy (or Chenjiagou Tai Chi School) since 1996. He has led the two teams of Chenjiagou and Chen Style Tai Chi Academy to participate in various national competitions many times and achieved excellent results. Over the years, he has received countless martial arts enthusiasts from home and abroad who came to Chenjiagou to visit, study, and exchange ideas. Master Chen Zi Qiang treats people sincerely and straightforwardly. His teaching methods that vary from person to person have been unanimously praised by students at home and abroad. He has made outstanding contributions to promoting Tai Chi and promoting the development and international dissemination of Tai Chi.

In 1996, Master Chen Zi Qiang participated in the “Henan Province Tai Chi, Sword & Push Hands Championship” for the first time and won the “Tai Chi Push Hands 56kg Champion”. He then won the “Tai Chi Push Hands 56kg Champion” in 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, and 2002. From 1996 to 2002, he won the “Tai Chi Push Hands 56kg Championship” in the “Wen County Tai Chi, Sword, Push Hands Competition”.

In 1997, Master Chen Zi Qiang achieved the first-level standard in the Henan Province Wushu Championship and was awarded the title of “First-level Warrior”. In the same year, he won the Push Hands Championship in the “Wen County Chenjiagou Push Hands Competition”.

In 1998, Master Chen Zi Qiang won the 56kg championship in the “1st Wen County Chen Style Tai Chi Research Association Push Hands Competition”. In the same year, he won the Tai Chi Push Hands Men’s Championship again in the “Tai Chi Championship” held by the Wen County Sports Bureau. 56kg champion.

In 1998, Master Chen Zi Qiang won the championship of Group A in the Tai Chi Fighting Arena at the “Fifth International Tai Chi Annual Conference” and was awarded the title of “Challenge Master”.

In 1999, Master Chen Ziqiang won the title of “Spiritual Civilization Athlete” in the “Henan Province Tai Chi Championship”. In the same year, he won the Push Hands Championship in the “Tai Chi Championship” held by the Wen County Sports Bureau.

In 1999, Master Chen Zi Qiang won the only gold medal in Henan Province in the “National Wushu Championship” held in Hangzhou, and was awarded the “Athlete Sports Morality Award”.

In 2000, Master Chen Zi Qiang won the men’s Tai Chi push hands 56 kg championship in the “Huashan Cup” in Shanxi Province.

In 2002, Master Chen Zi Qiang won the men’s Tai Chi push hands 56 kg championship in the “National Wushu Championship”.

In 2003, Master Chen Zi Qiang participated in the filming of CCTV’s “Into Science”, “Travel Around China”, “Sports World”, “Wulin Conference” and “My Beautiful Countryside”, interpreting the origin history of Tai Chi.

In 2004, Master Chen Zi Qiang was specially invited by the “Wulin Feng” TV program group to participate in the program shooting, and led his disciples to perform authentic Tai Chi.

In June 2005, Master Chen Zi Qiang led the Chenjiagou Tai Chi team to visit Hong Kong. In August, he served as the chief planner of the “Martial Arts Performance at the Opening Ceremony of the Jiaozuo International Tai Chi Annual Conference” and organized all the teachers and students of the Chen Style Tai Chi Academy (or Chenjiagou Tai Chi School) to participate in the large-scale performance of “Tai Chi Soul”. In October of the same year, Master Chen Zi Qiang represented Jiaozuo City in the “Ninth National Cultural Festival of Henan Province” and won the first prize.

In 2006, Master Chen Zi Qiang was invited by Famen Temple in Shanxi Province twice to teach Tai Chi in Famen Temple and integrated Tai Chi culture with Fojian culture.

In 2007, Master Chen Zi Qiang was invited to visit the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany, Italy, Spain and South Korea to teach Tai Chi to Tai Chi enthusiasts around the world.

In 2008, Master Chen Zi Qiang published books and audio-visual products of all Tai Chi Styles (or Teaching Contents) of Chen Style Tai Chi Academy (or Chenjiagou Tai Chi School).

In 2009, Master Chen Zi Qiang was named “Excellent Intangible Cultural Heritage of Tai Chi” by the Jiaozuo Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center. In the same year, Master Chen Zi Qiang organized the “Tai Chi Competition” in Chenjiagou.

In 2010, Master Chen Zi Qiang participated in the “Wulin Da Hui” hosted by CCTV-5 and won the overall championship. In the same year, Master Chen Ziqiang visited South Korea on behalf of China, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, and performed, instructed and exchanged Tai Chi for Korean Tai Chi enthusiasts.

In 2011, Master Chen Zi Qiang participated in the “Wulin Da Hui Season 2 – School Ranking” hosted by CCTV-5 and won the annual group championship. In the same year, Master Chen Zi Qiang visited Italy on behalf of China, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Italy, and performed, instructed and exchanged Tai Chi for Italian Tai Chi enthusiasts.

In 2012, Master Chen Zi Qiang organized the “1st China Chenjiagou Chen Style Tai Chi International Exchange Competition” in Chenjiagou.

In 2013, Master Chen Zi Qiang visited Brazil, Argentina, Chile and other South American countries on behalf of Chenjiagou, and performed, instructed and exchanged Tai Chi for local Tai Chi enthusiasts.

In 2014, Master Chen Zi Qiang led a team to represent Chenjiagou in the “China-Foreign Contest” and won the team championship. In the same year, Master Chen Ziqiang organized the “2nd China Chenjiagou Chen Style Tai Chi International Exchange Competition” in Chenjiagou.

In 2015, Master Chen Ziqiang led the team to participate in the “Opening Ceremony of the National Education System Chen Style Tai Chi Competition” and won the Best Performance Award.

In 2016, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, Master Chen Zi Qiang visited ten European countries on behalf of China and performed, guided and exchanged Tai Chi for local Tai Chi enthusiasts. In the same year, Master Chen Zi Qiang organized the “3rd China Chenjiagou Chen Style Tai Chi International Exchange Competition” in Chenjiagou.

In 2017, Master Chen Zi Qiang organized the “Chen Style Tai Chi 2017 Global Teaching Event”, and traveled to the United States, Italy, Germany, France, Britain, Spain, Austria, Czech Republic, Norway, Argentina, Chile and Russia and other countries, promoting the popularization and dissemination of Tai Chi around the world.

On May 26, 2017, at the invitation of Mr. Fernando, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bolivia, Master Chen Zi Qiang performed authentic Chinese Kung Fu – Tai Chi for Bolivian government staff, the Chinese Embassy, ​​and local commercial enterprises in the lobby of the Presidential Palace in La Paz, Bolivia, and explained the principles of Tai Chi and the history of the origin of Tai Chi.

In 2018, Master Chen Zi Qiang organized the “4th China Chenjiagou Chen Style Tai Chi International Exchange Competition” in Chenjiagou.
